• Problems Accessing Documents from Blackboard
  

  We are aware of the issues that some users have experienced in trying to access documents posted in Blackboard courses using Internet Explorer.  First, make sure that you have Internet Explorer 7 or later, Blackboard 9 is not compatible with older versions of Internet Explorer.  Once you have the correct version of Internet Explorer, the following workaround options are available to facilitate this process:

  1. Add Blackboard to your Trusted Sites list in Internet Explorer.

  To Do This:

  1. Click on the Tools button and choose Internet Options
  2. Click on the Security tab, then select Trusted Sites
  3. Click the Sites button
  4. Make sure that the "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" checkbox at the bottom of the dialog is not checked
  5. Type http://blackboard.mobap.edu into the "Add this website to the zone:" box, then click the Add button
  6. Click the Close button

  2. Right-click on the link for the document you want to download, and choose Open in New Tab or Open in New Window, this will allow you to Open or Save the file.

  3. Use Firefox 3 or later, instead of Internet Explorer.
